Does fasting lactate rise when you're sick or after the COVID shot?

My fasting lactate is between 0.9 and 1.6 on a regular basis. I test here and there with a meter at home in the AM and also after Zone 2 workouts. I recently got my 2nd covid shot (Pfizer). I did feel very ill (worn down, achy, headache etc) on the 2nd day. On the 3rd I felt better but noticed that that my fasting lactate level on the AM of Day 3 was 2.6. I completed a zone 2 workout that same morning and maintained the level of 2.6 after 30 minutes of Zone 2. Any idea if when you're sick with the flu or covid, does that raise fasting lactate levels like it seems to rise fasting glucose?

The Reset - Guest on the show? Dr. Anthony Martin

Could you have Dr. Martin on The Drive. Love this "ol' coot" who speaks from 40 years of clinical experience and is a PHD in Nutrition. I think you could challenge him on some great questions!! Have a looksee? He has a podcast live daily on facebook and also has written numerous best sellers over the year. The latest one is the "metabolic reset". He's also from my hometown of Sudbury Ontario ;). https://martinclinic.com/products/the-metabolic-reset Eggs, meat and cheese for all sorts of reasons.

Jimmy Moore on the Drive?

I'm assuming you've heard of Jimmy Moore and have possibly followed some of his n+1 experiments over the last decade? I would LOVE to see if he's be up for a "live consult" sharing his journey to date and getting some insights as to what he hasn't tried. I've listen to him (and numerous Drs for years) and man, he's tried EVERYTHING that I've ever heard of, you name it! So many doctors are "stumped" by his insulin resistance and nothing able to reverse it. It would be SUPER interesting to have you review his labs, his experiements and seeing what he's missing!

Phenylethylamine as a nootropic

Peter and team, what are your thoughts on Phenylethylamine and nootropics in general?

What about lOW blood pressure?

You've covered high blood pressure a lot in your podcasts, writing and AMAs, I wondered if you could spend some time talking about low blood pressure? I'd love to know more about its causes and possible treatments (including non-pharmacological). My girlfriend has always had low blood pressure, which she deals with by drinking a lot of water throughout the day. I'm not sure if that's a good way to deal with it but she also would prefer not to be on medication. She also doesn't tolerate carbs well so that probably doesn't help. There's not as much literature on low blood pressure out there and would love to hear your thoughts.
