Cyclodextrin and arterial plaque

There is an unregulated treatment for arterial plaque and cholesterol called Cavadex that claims to be extremely effective in reversing plaque build up. https://cavadex.com/ The FDA is dismissing it as being a drug by virtue of its claimed actions, but not recognizing it as legit (though also not saying it is harmful or does not work). What is the evidence for and against its efficacy and would you be concerned with its side effects (alleged to be zero, as its active ingredient of cyclodextrin is supposedly not metabolized by the body).

Has anything changed the conventional guidelines that make a determination using symptoms above and below the neck? Right now I’m experiencing mild whole body fatigue from a COVID infection, but it seems like I could still do a very easy and short strength training session to cut my losses.
