If one can produce their own testosterone (i.e. moderate response to clomid) but TRT was necessary to achieve optimal levels, do you recommend cycling off TRT after a period of time? For example, should testosterone be held and replaced with either clomid or HCG to allow ones body to produce their own testosterone for a few months, then cycle back on TRT? (Fertility is not a concern to me)
My understanding of fasting at the moment is the following * Fasting inhibits mTORC1 signaling * There is evidence that blocking mTOR decreases senescence. My question is : does fasting actually kills or remove senescent cells? in other words, could fasting be inhibitory without being actually senolytic?
Hi Peter, in your "The straight dope on cholesterol", you said "Eating cholesterol has very little impact on the cholesterol levels in your body." Can you explain the dietary cholesterol pathway to provide a better understanding in this? Does it mean we can eat as many eggs and shrimps and scallops as we want? :)
