Hello! I'm a physician myself, I am 40 yo and recently diagbosed with degerative cervical spine disease and nerve compression although mild symptoms. Because of that it's very hard to lift weights as it exacerbates the symptoms. Could you please provide any guideance on strategies to treat and prevent it from worsening long term. I appreciate your advise. Thank you in advance.
Hi, I'm following up on my previous AMA question from a few weeks ago in which I described a conversation I had with my doctor where he declined to provide an ApoB blood test based on the fact that my HDL/LDL levels looked fine from a previous lipid panel. I took a third party ApoB test through Labcorp and it turns out my ApoB level is 121. I was shocked. Not only was my doctor wrong about my ASCVD risk level being low (based on HDL/LDL), I didn't know my level would be that high being I'm 34 years old and in relatively good shape. I really appreciate the work you do. Without it, I wouldn't know to be proactive about my health.
Team, I have years worth of heart rate data, from both training and daily use, from my chest strap monitor and garmin heart rate watches. How can I best make use of all this data to analyze trends and learn from it. I can download it all into spreadsheets, but what long term trends should I be looking for.
