Lactic acid and fasting

I have been doing a ~23 hour IF (eating once a day). I recently started exercising and even at a low intensity I notice lactic acid building up quickly. Why is this? I am hydrated and keep my electrolytes and vitamins in balance.

RCT Deep Dive (studying studies) on Ivermectin and Hydroxy

Could you guys nerd out on the studying studies for the subject RCTs? Some say they were set up for failure. So much anecdotal and possible observational evidence of efficacy (in other countries). Would like to hear you smart folks discuss...I'm fucking iver-klempt!

Physiological vs cellular aging

Peter, I have begun listening to Dr. David Sinclair's Podcast Lifespan, which I find fascinating. I also regularly listen to Andrew Huberman in addition to "The Drive". I am intrigued by the information provided by Dr. Sinclair WRT Testosterone and high energy and the information that it essentially accelerates aging at the cellular level. However, on the physiological side, retaining muscle mass and strength mitigates some of the most common causes of fatality in the elderly. On the flip side, Dr. Sinclair promotes intermittent fasting, metformin, occasional 3-day fasting and other strategies to decelerate and even reverse aging. How do you reconcile these two approaches to healthy aging and longevity? Do you believe that intermittent fasting and the resulting autophagy can reverse the effects of accelerated aging caused by testosterone and in-general high levels of energy?

Steepids for Injuries

Is the overuse of steroid medication prescribed by doctors contributing to the rise of metabolic disorder? I went to the urgent care last night for a pulled oblique and extreme pain. It works really well. But this morning I woke up with diagnosable diabetes fasting blood sugar of 140, compared to my usual of in the mood 80s which is still high for me but I contribute to the Don affect since I started an intermittent fasting. I was not asked about anything related to diabetes before I was given this drink. WTF
