Is IV infusion for training recovery beneficial?

There has been a significant increase in medical "spa" facilities that offer multiple solutions for recovery such as cryotherapy, infrared saunas and IV infusion. The AMAs and interviews (e.g. Layne Norton) around training and recovery (cold v. hot therapy) have been helpful to understand what is worth my time. I'm curious to know if IV infusion for the purpose of muscle recovery and performance is at all beneficial and worth the investment?

Could you explain the scientific basis of your decision to not wear a mask? Would this decision be the same if you lived with an immunocompromised person or an unvaccinated infant?

CTA Scan Radiation exposure

Just got my CTA done and I asked the technician about the radiation exposure, based on your IG post. She was not sure and said "let me find out" .. and then came back and said "it will be 30 milligray, which is very low and these machines are designed to minimize the radiation exposure" but 30 milligray converts to 30 mSv, as per online calculators! Your test was about 2mSv and when I google CTA radiation dose for chest with contrast, most answers show 12-14mSv. Should I assume that the technician didn't know what she was talking about and the radiation is at worst 12-14mSv :)

You mention phenibut as a good sleep aid. Do you have a protocol for its use you find safe and effective? I follow good sleep hygiene rules and generally get 8 hours of sleep a night, but rarely get any deep sleep (according to oura ring and garmin watch).
