As an alternative to metformin, Berberine may not blunt exercise performance or adaptation. Is it plausible?

Urge to drink and sickness

Hi Peter, I am a pretty heavy drinker but am aware of the health risks etc and want to quit or drastically cut back. I recently got covid and noticed I had no desire to drink or use these nicotine replacement therapy pouches I have switches to after quitting smoking cigars. Two days into covid I am 80% better and the cravings returned. Why do you think that is? Any way to leverage this? (yesterday I thought I was a changed man and could easily quit my addictions but now they are back!)

sulforaphane

Rhonda Patrick is a huge believer in sulforaphane. Personally I find broccoli sprouts so nasty it might not be worth the extra years if I have to spend said years eating said sprouts. Just kidding. Sort of. Would love to hear Peter’s take. Thanks!

Peter, please weigh in here, or in a new podcast regarding the role that insect protein isolates can play in our diets to reduce our dependence on animal proteins and or to augment a vegan diet to contain an adequate amount of protein Thank you

Massage

Curious to know your take on massage therapy and whether it is something that should be consistently Incorporated into ones weekly program. Also the normal question re feeling unwell after massages …why how etc. Drinking more water etc etc.
