Erratic nighttime glucose on CGM

I have noticed my nighttime (while sleeping) glucose readings to be very erratic with large swings back and forth of 30-40mg/dl. Additionally my morning fasting glucose is always high at about 99. During daytime hours my glucose is extremely steady with minimal variability. Any thoughts to etiology of the nighttime variability? Thank you!
