Pseudo-diabetes (starvation diabetes)

From my reading it is harmless, but during my last 3 day fast, my fasting blood glucose actually rose throughout the fast, being around 110 by the end of it. This has never happened before. Glucose is back to normal again. One thing different about this fast than others is that I was ravenously hungry throughout, so not a fan even if it is harmless. Can you comment on "starvation diabetes", why it happens, and if there are any hacks to prevent it?

Zone 2 before Strength Training?

I've always read that it's best to strength training BEFORE cardio/zone 2 but in a recent AMA, you stated you do the opposite. What is that rational based on?

CJC-1295

I’m 46 and my testosterone has fallen from high 800 to low 400 in one year. I’ve tried testosterone cream and torches. My numbers have not budged. I’m feeling very depressed and tired. I can never get a good night sleep. I was an Olympic gymnast so I know how important workout is but it’s hard for me to get in good workouts bc I’m so tired. A friend told me about CJC-1295. He said it was a game changer for him. It apparently tricks your body into naturally making testosterone. This sounds great to me but I would love your opinion. Thank you so much for what you do,

Mitochondria dysfunction in heart failure, and relation to supplements

It's been a while since we've heard thoughts on supplements. This article discusses supplements in relation to heart failure and mitochondrial dysfunciton.... which could lead into a discussion of zone 2 training. What are recent thoughts on supplements in relation to the above? https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/968873?uac=405907BJ&faf=1&sso=true&impID=4034900&src=wnl_edit_tpal#vp_2

Human intelligence and artificial: impact on car racing, medicine & our human longevity

Dear Peter and Team AttiaMD, Firstly, I've been following the Drive podcast since 2019. You have given me tools, curiosity and knowledge and I've changed my life for the better. Thank you. Secondly thank you for the COVID 19 perspectives and effort. I can only imagine the effort and responses. I hope you all and your families are well. Thank you for your work and effort. Today (Feb 23, 2022) I read with interest the NPR article referencing a nature paper on AI racing cars (below links). Have you read this already? I thought of you. I also thought of me. As a pathologist-scientist, I use machine learning (AI) in tissue diagnosis, error correction and cancer biomarkers. I also think about the "little things" of AI - search aids and sentence completion, for example - and how AI may become a crutch for language and thinking to the detriment of my children and generations to come - (wink wink...did calculators do this to math?). What do you think about AI in healthcare, AI in society and AI in education? What about the longevity of humankind? This is broad and the last question unknowable, I know, but important to me to ponder and prepare my self and my children. I welcome your insights and your scientific teams due diligence on this scientific/philosophy overlap of topics.
