Hi Peter, I'd like to know what your thoughts on HRV are (Heart Rate Variability) and whether it is better for longevity to do exercises in waves/intervals (HIIT) that icrease HRV? I've heard other experts say this is the best way for longevity to mimic the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems.
Hi Peter, I'd like to know your thoughts on how Endurance exercise instead of HIIT can effect your heart. Specifically the book the "Haywire Heart" by Chris Case talks about doing endurance exercise for more than 1 hour a week for 5 days a week creates functional changes in the heart which can lead to Cardiomegalgy/hypertrophy, or extra beats, arritymias, and Bradycardia. It is been suggested that HIIT may be better for the heart.
