Fluvoxamine and COVID

Do you consider the risk/benefit data for Fluvoxamine use to be strong, weak, or somewhere in between?

FRUIT & SUGAR

Hi - Great episode AMA on sugar. One thing I'm still unsure of is how much fruit in your diet is ideal? How many servings, can you over do it on fruit? How much fruit does Peter have in his diet? Can fruit cause metabolic and insulin issues?

Covid-19 Long Haulers and ME (myalgic encephalomyelitis)

Could you take a deep dive into postviral fatigue/ME? Would also love if you could comment on possible postviral downregulated ACE 2 could explain impaired stress tolerance (women and men with different symptom pattern, maybe depending on Ang II receptor- distribution?)- men getting typical metabolic syndrome and women maybe more like fibromyalgia/fatigue?

Hydration, RAAS, ACE-2 and Covid. Is there a link that we're missing here?

Have we overlooked the obvious? Is dehydration a co-conspirator here in the millions that have fallen due to Covid-19? https://lkandia.blogspot.com/2020/12/how-93-year-old-woman-dehydrated-and.html

Diabetes, Hyper/Hypoglycameia and the brain

Hi, I am a type 1 Diabetic so most of the information i would like to glean is more so related to it than type 2. I am wondering, could you provide an insight into the effects of chronic and repeated fluctautions in blood glucose on cognitivie function, including depression. I have read studies indicating hippocampal damage in mice, and altered metabolites in T1 DM brains using MRS. Is this damage reversable? How to best protect the brain. Controlling glucose is obvious, but incredibly difficult so anything else? Perhaps another guest to speak about it? The previous guest on T1 was very interesting. I guess it would apply to Type 2 too and im not sure if any previous podcasts went in depth on effects of fluctuating glucose and insulin on cognitive function and long term brain health. More so covered macrovascular damage and CVD.
