Minimium Single Dose Zone 2 Training

What is the minimum single dose (time) for a Zone 2 Training session. I have always used 30 minutes. Based on a article I read years and years ago. That may have been bull. Also, does the law of diminishing apply to a single dose of zone 2. For example are two 45 minute doses equivalent to one 90 minute dose. Or does one or the other provide a bigger benefit?

Validity of European aspartame study

Should one be worried about the results found in the French aspartame study? I can’t confirm but validity but I’m seeing popular “health experts” going on twitter saying that the artificial sweetener will be listed as “possibly carcinogenic to humans” by WHO.

SSRI suicide warning

Hi Peter, I´m a big fan, superb potcast with Mohit Khera! I´m a physician in hemostaseology in the northern Germany University Hospital UKSH). Short comment, from my time in psychosomatics I recall to be careful, when to start SSRI. Beware doing it in a suicidal phase, because first the patients activity will be boosted, the antidepressive effect lags behind. So the patient might use his newly found capacity to commit suicide before he is able to distance himself from it. shownotes of the podcast with Peters statement/question about suicide warnings for SSRIs: Many countries, Canada, France, UK, have put on their package insert; not a blackbox warning but a warning of increased risk of suicidal ideation * Peter points out that SSRIs have that warning as well

Blood pressure - height related for larger individuals and averages

Hi Peter & Nick, love your work, further more to your blood pressure topic I hope your knowledge will help as no one can seem to give a detailed answer on this across the board. 1. Does blood pressure change due to the height of an individual? For example would an extremely tall person have a higher base reading say 130/80 etc. or does height impact it at all? 2. If someone had completed a 24 hour Blood pressure monitor who is medicated and their average reading result comes back as 135/80 but overnight it dips very low to around 110/60. Would you still try to add more medication to drop it to a better average even with those low numbers overnight or is it problematic adding more as it may bring the overnight to an even lower number. (For this case study/question this individual is also fit and not overweight with a controlled diet. Would really love and appreciate answers on those questions as I truely feel you are the only one who can give a proper answer based on your knowledge. These are truely questions that no one has ever covered. Thank you, really appreciate everything you both do.

Doctor to help me practice what you preach?

You are a busy (and expensive) professional! I am having a hell of a time finding a doctor in the Woodlands, TX that will help me practice what you preach. Have you ever thought about providing a list of doctors that practice healthcare 3.0?
