Foot health

Hi Peter, Long time listener and subscriber, and now Early Medical enrollee. I don’t ever recall you discussing in any detail foot health. It’s been an issue all my life as I have flat feet. But I would be interested to hear you interview a podiatrist, or some other expert in this domain about topics such as flat feet, foot deformities (bunions, hammer toes), importance of footwear (?toe shoes, minimal issues, etc). Now that I’m in my 40s, I have all of these problems and wonder what the limiting factor is going to be in my mobility as I age. I think the foot plays an important role and is hardly discussed. Will appreciate your insight!

Obicetrapib/New Amsterdam Pharma

Based on episode 255, which included a deep dive on Obicetrapib, and its subsequent phenomenal phase 2 readout, is there any reason you're NOT investing in NewAmsterdam Pharma? I see it doesn't appear on your conflict of interest page. If, as you said, it has the possibility of supplanting statins, it would appear to be an upcoming mega blockbuster.

Verapamil, blood pressure and cluster headaches

I've been treating/preventing cluster headaches with verapamil for about 10 years. I've recently been switched to a slow release formula of about 300mg. After listening to your blood pressure episode I thought about the fact my blood pressure never fluctuated going from 80mg to 300mg (slow release) treatment. Would I end up with hypertension if I discontinued it? I have zero plans to stop this treatment. Long term though how concerned should I be with this treatment. I'm 51 from the Caribbean and started this 10 years ago. I've had cluster headaches since I was 21.

Workbooks

There are at least a half dozen books now that are titled a workbook for Peter Attia's Outlive. Are any of them actually written by or endorsed by Peter Attia?

True brain health

I saw a commercial on TV that informed me of a supplement derived from JELLYFISH that restores and maintains brain health. Why can’t Peter and others admit the truth about brain health: that the answer/panacea is jellyfish?
