HRT

PLEASE discuss your specific approach with hormonal testing and intervention, specifically with HRT type and dosing, in perimenopausal/ early menopausal women with focus on healthspan/longevity (even if asymptomatic or with minimal symptoms), ie bone health, dementia prevention/delay, cardiovascular, etc. All have been alluded to in prior podcasts within each subject, but not as clearly discussed as cholesterol testing, treatment and parameters for example; could you do the same type of breakdown for HRT? Really discussion of male and female HRT would be ideal, but primarily interested in female health as it comprises the majority of my practice. Thanks!

Personality and old age

I run a service in the UK for older people with personality disorders. We see a large number of patients with complex mental health problems that have gone largely undetected. Their physical health is poor often as a result of their poor mental health. How do you think the way in which personality changes with age affects a person's ability to work on their health? Does the literature say what can be done about it?

Does competitive endurance training compromise longevity optimization?

In AMA #12, you mention performance/high-level endurance training (2:40 marathon, sub-10 Ironman, dead lift 3.5x body weight) can compromise longevity optimization. Can you do a deep dive into this?

Seed Oils Discussion

Hi Peter & Team, I would love to hear you discuss a topic of seed Oils & health. Would you maybe consider inviting someone like Avi Bitterman or Nick Hiebert on to discuss? These guys are masters of nutritional sciences research and with your interviewing skills it would make for such a great drive podcast. I know you had Layne on but I feel Layne is not well informed on this topic as of yet.

Erythritol/Heart Attack/Stroke Study

Recently a study emerged connecting heart attack & stroke with consumption of erythritol. I am hesitant, thanks to you, to believe the findings reported by the media. I would appreciate your perspective on this study. Thank you. https://newsroom.clevelandclinic.org/2023/02/27/cleveland-clinic-study-finds-common-artificial-sweetener-linked-to-higher-rates-of-heart-attack-and-stroke/
