What are best stability exercises? If one does Tai Chi under load (with ankle weights, leg weights, &/or body weights?) Is that a good way to increase stability? If so how much of a load and on what body parts are ideal? What about Yoga instead of Tai Chi?
What blood tests should i be getting at 60? Current plan to ask primary doctor to test addition things to have a baseline going forward and focus on weakness. Alternatively, other routes to get this info from different type Dr. or service. Currently very good health, but so was my father at 60, but died at 65 - prostate cancer.
Understand from your previous podcasts that you still have questions around Metformin regarding longevity benefits and given its focus inhibiting mitochondrial activity could possibly have negative effects for healthy individuals who actively train. I have been using Metformin to help bring down my A1C from 5.6/5.7 to around 5.2 while also for its longevity benefits. I activity train, weights 3x week, yoga/boxing 3x week, and have wanted more energy. Do you have any experience with Acarbose and do you have an opinion on its use instead of Metformin? Many Thanks
