I have heard Peter refer to Magnesium Citrate, Slo-Mag (Magnesium Chloride?) and Magtein (Magnesium L-Threonate over the past year. The most recent podcast with James O'Keefe he only mentioned the first two above, nothing about Magtein. Can you please outline what his most up-to-date thinking is on these three forms and what is personal daily Magnesium regime looks like?
Are you concerned about the risk of ketoacidosis when mixing a SGLT2 inhibitor with strict carbohydrate restriction? I am not diabetic but am considering the use of a SGLT2 inhibitor for longevity/overall metabolic benefits but I do a 7 day mix of keto/water only/keto (2/3/2) each month and am concerned about a ketoacidotic complication... I have a bad allergy to fish (it's an actual Anaphylaxis, not just that I don't like fish). Interestingly, I can eat shellfish and crustaceans. Can Peter opine on food recommendations to replace nutrients common in fish (e.g. Omega 3), and share any specific supplements he thinks might be good?
