Would love to see you do a podcast with a pediatrician. As a parent, would love to know how they think and act towards parents knowing a sick child and feeling helpless/clueless is a great fear. What are things parents should do before seeing pediatrician vs ER. How to ease fears. How to ask good questions regarding advised treatments and those risks for kids (anti-biotics, predinsone, etc.).
I know most are trying to lose, but for those who are underweight due to genetics or even illness this can be difficult. My sister and I are in our 60's and without effort have always been thin. We are both embracing the high protein diet, but this is working much better for me as I have always had a great appetite. My sister does not, and started to suffer from mild acid reflux even before trying to up protein. This has caused her to limit certain foods and decreased her appetite even further -vicious cycle If she could gain 10 lbs, it might improve everything. She has been checked out and the doctors have not found anything really wrong. Not a huge problem yet, but trying to solve before it is. It is hard not to eat when you want to lose, but trying to eat with zero appetite is a special kind of hell. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks for all the good info.
