Zone 2 exercise and longevity

Can you join the dots between zone 2 training and longevity? After hearing you explain the relationship between VO2 max and all-cause mortality I have incorporated VO2 max training once per week. I do zone 2 training as well, but I feel less certain about the longevity benefits (mitochondrial health?). I'm not a professional cyclist so I'm not persuaded by knowing that they do this type of training. Is there some way I can measure the benefits of zone 2 training?

Reconciling differing views on LDL/ApoB/statins

From listening to your excellent podcasts on the subject I have come to believe that LDL serves no useful purpose and that there's no reason not to take a statin to get it as low as possible. On the other hand, there are trustworthy sources (e.g. Nadir Ali - a cardiologist) who also seem knowledgable about these things, but present a different view. How am I to reconcile the different viewpoints from multiple trusted sources? I don't have time to become an expert on the subject myself.

Conflicting CVD Indicators: LDL-P

Lipoprotein (a): 17 ApoB: 105 LDL-P: 2000!!!! ApoE: 3/4 CACs: 0/0/0/0 Fasting Insulin: 4 Fasting Glucose: 88 Homocysteine: 6 ALT: 17 BP: 125/75 Demo: 55YO, Male, lifetime fitness, no early MI or cancer in 3+ generations What to do about LDL-P besides 1G Niacin, EPA, Berberine and Allicin. Zero Rx medication. Cut out daily MCT, zero butter, grass-fed meats only 1x/wk.

Wearable VO2max validity

I am interested in the differences and limitations of commercially available VO2max calculations via smartwatch’s (garmin, Apple etc.) and direct VO2 testing in the lab.

Best times of day to measure blood pressure?

Does Peter have any thoughts on the best protocol for consistently measuring blood pressure?
