Fascia vs muscle and bone

Hi Peter, You have talked extensively about importance of muscle and bone but not about fascia to my knowledge. I would like to know how important you think fascia is and also what we can do about it. Thank you.

Exercise and antioxidants

What is the effect of consuming antioxidant supplements around the time of exercise? Do they interfere with metabolic processes impacting the benefits and is there a dependency on the intensity of the workout?

Practical tactics

I love the deep technical conversations. it would be amazing if Peter would end as many episodes as possible with specific practical tools, i.e. "here's what you should do." I know there a limitations bc everyone is different, etc. But for example after the DEXA scan AMA I went out and got my DEXA scan. Yes, I have too much VAT. Is it simply a matter of "build more muscle and reduce food intake while increasing protein intake?" Really clear guidance especially at the end of AMAs would be super helpful. Thank you! Trazadone and Mental Health

Greetings! I was taken back to here that Peter endorses Trazodone before sleep. How do you think about the MOA of Trazodone and how it differentiates from conventional SSRIs? In recent years this class of medication has sparked a lot of controversy. Do you think by increasing exogenous serotonin this subsequently effects the ability to produce endogenous serotonin? What peer reviewed evidence is there for trazodone, has there been any longitudinal trials?

Does statin prevent cerebral atherosclerosis as well?

Cholesterol cannot cross blood brain barrier, therefore all cholesterol in the brain is from de novo synthesis. Can statin lower cholesterol level in the brain? Is there even a test for cholesterol level in the brain?
