Hi Peter, I am a 47 y/o female LMP 2 years ago. Mild hot flashes. No HRT. Previous runner with pelvic stress fracture in 2017 (1st BMD exam then showing osteopenia) accelerated now to osteoporosis of my lumbar spine. Please see report below. I am devastated. Have an upcoming appointment with endocrinologist. What would you be recommending for treatment for patients such as myself from both a lifestyle and medication standpoint? Thank you so much! Hi Peter! This is a question that one of my carnivorous colleagues ask me and I don’t know the answer: If oxidized ldl-c is an essential step for the formation of atheroma plaques should we just care for the level of oxidized ldl-c? In other words don’t treat/reduced ldl-c/ApoB unless we demonstrate that ldl particles are oxidized. Thanks
