How to improve GFR in a healthy person?

Hi Peter, Just wanted to thank you and your team for all the great things that you guys are doing. In episode #194 with Rick Johnson, you mentioned your obsession with improving GFR in your patients. I searched online and seems that the literature is around improving or reversing CKD but those recommendations do not seem logical for a healthy person (a person with no diabeties, no hypertension and no kidney disease or any other known condition) Could you please articulate your strategy for improving GFR for example let's say a 42 years old patient with current GFR: 79 to reach 105?

Where do you stand on fasting now?

It seems as though you’ve maybe moderated your position on fasting. The fact that it’s not emphasized on the show in the way it once was suggests that perhaps you don’t see it as important of a tool as you once did. I could definitely be wrong, but I’m a pretty avid listener.

Can Peter explain the science about the omega-3 index and the indirect correlation with omega-3 intake.I think most papers forget that there is more factors in this than just the omega-3 intake.
