You recently discussed whether you can exercise too much with regards to longevity. Having experienced RED-S (overtraining/under-recovery syndrome), more than once, I wondered what the impact of this can be to longevity, especially if you are in this state too often or for long periods of time. I understand the impact on sex hormones, therefore risk of fertility, mental health issues and osteopenia in women for example. What are other risks that could impact health in later life?
Peter, On the recent interview with Andrew Huberman you mention seven questions you ask patients about why they take specific supplements. Please post those questions somewhere on your site to help your podcast audience evaluate personal supplement habits. Thanks
How fun would it be to have an annual event (Longevity Olympics with a fun name) where you tested everyone's longevity parameters (vo2 max, watts in Zone 2 etc.). That would be such a great thing to "train" for, for those of us that are outwardly accountable and would just have such positive energy! You could even make it exclusive to members and make a whole weekend out of it (record some live AMAs)!
