Dr Rabinowitz and zone 2 training and insulin sensitivity

Following the great (great) talk, Can we explain the increasing insulin sensitivity after zone two training by simply substrate availability( do we really see GLUT 4 movement ? ). assumptions from the talk : fat and glucose compete as a fuel zone 2 training deplete the fat in/near the cell allowing glucose to be utilized as there is no/less fat. causing glucose uptake from the blood , causing reduction of glucose in the blood that appears as insulin sensitivity

What is you view on Examine.com and how to research supplements.

In researching supplements, there is a lot of information out there. One resource I found helpful is Examine.com. They provide a "Human Effect Matrix" where they do kind of a meta-analysis on the studies for a certain outcome and give a score for level of evidence" and magnitude of effect. I find this very helpful. The question now is of course, how reliable this is. If the person doing the analysis doesn't know how to properly read and interpret studies, the results might not be very helpful. What do you think about Examine.com? On the other hand, I can't read all the literature and studies on all supplements myself. What would be your advice?

Finasteride / DHT / Balding

As someone who has taken finasteride (3 days/ week) and regrew their head of hair (30 now), I was wondering if there are alternatives that could be explored to prevent hair loss without the potential negative effects of limiting DHT? I am concerned it's affecting my energy / mood and I may not realize is as I've been on it for 5 years now.
