I just recently did my check up and one of the additional services offered is a prostate ultrasound, but I don't know if this is worthwhile as a general test or only in cast of actual symptoms being present? Thank you.
I would like for Peter and or the team to address reductive stress as a cause of metabolic dysfunction. Please see this excellent blog on the topic, including simple supplements and dietary interventions to ameliorate the reductive stress: https://fireinabottle.net/battling-reductive-stress-pyruvate-and-l-carnitine/
My understanding is that Beta-Alanine as a supplement works to suppress the production of lactate during exercise. What are the costs of this? It is one of the most potent workout supplements I have ever tried, and can't believe that there are not more costs associated with it than what is readily discernible online.
I would love a deep-dive into allergies. I have wrestled with allergies my entire life from foods to pollens to animals, and have noticed that some allergies seem to just suddenly go away, and others randomly seem to manifest. I have had sinus issues arise as a result and the extent to which allergies can work to disrupt exercise, sleep, and nutrition is hard to overstate, not to mention the chronic inflammatory condition it puts the body into. Can you discuss how our bodies develop allergies mechanically, ways in which we might improve our body's ability to accurately distinguish between truly hostile foreign substances and benign ones?
