Pretty big NEJM study that seemed to decisively against vitamin D supplementation (going so far as to say people should stop measuring it). This seems like quite a pivot on what has been conventional wisdom that a large percentage of people are deficient and almost all elderly people should be taking vitamin D. Do you agree with the findings of the study?
It seems to be understood that rapamycin significantly increases cholesterol, HbA1c and maybe even blood pressure. Some rapamycin forums dismiss this as misleading because it is the body's reaction to calorie restriction, not "true" high cholesterol or blood sugar. Should someone with high cholesterol or pre-diabetes or high blood pressure be concerned about taking rapamycin? Personally, do you see any effect on your blood tests when you're taking it? Or do you measure your cholesterol after cycling off?
