I am getting regular fasted blood tests to check my biomarkers. I know some vitamins are water-soluble and some are not which impacts how long they stay in the body. Should I be avoiding taking vitamins and minerals up to the date of the blood tests or should I stop taking vitamins within 48 hours of the tests. Thanks!
Love your stuff, kudos 1000 times over. I fail to understand how LDL-C etc particles harm us. To me it seems much more likely that another source of injury, such as a bacterial or viral infection damages cell walls. The immune and repair mechanisms rush to action and the LDL-C particles are part of that response. Bacterial infections could come from periodontal disease. Viral infections from the common and sometimes severe common colds, Flu, etc. I have asked my several doctors and they all wave their hands at causality - the actual source of the injury that creates ASCD. Why in heck would the body create injurious substances. Why would the liver let them circulate for days unless there was a beneficial purpose? [Ignoring auto-immune diseases.] Just because these in some place - that doesn't mean they are the cause of injury. Just because firemen are gathered at a house fire - that doesn't mean they started the fire. Where is the arson investigation reports [pathological studies?] Best wishes to you and yours,
