NAD+ HUMAN HEALTH SPAN

I'm a post menopausal woman who has taken Life Extension's NAD+ (Niagen300 mg) for many years. Without any conscious effort, my muscle strength in my arms improved, allowing me to pick up heavier objects i.e., grocery bags etc. I noticed that I dramatically could run up two flights of BART stairs without getting weak kneed and my eyesight improved when I went for my annual vision test. In fact I no longer need glasses ! My question is, "Aren't these considered objective tests in humans? I don't see the bias. "Form follows Function" and Health Span leads to Life Span -- In any event, I am relieved that you do not see harm for most people taking this supplement in moderate doses per your latest AMA conversation with Matt Kaeberlein.

REM Behavioral Disorder and Parkinson’s

I understand they are finding ties between REM Behavioral Disorder and Parkinson’s. I have been sleepwalking my entire life and was diagnosed with REM Behavioral Disorder in my mid-30s. Is this a likely indication of potential Parkinson’s or is that more for people who have onset of REM Behavioral Disorder later in life?

Preventing heart disease through CRISPR

Does Peter think the below sort of therapies have promise: https://singularityhub.com/2022/05/16/a-one-and-done-crispr-gene-therapy-will-aim-to-prevent-heart-attacks/?utm_campaign=SU%20Hub%20Daily%20Newsletter&utm_medium=email&_hsmi=213278655&_hsenc=p2ANqtz-_hEvwiFWgwEJPIj_LtgbWn-r5Mx_WyjqJ-w5RUq1W9oGvOc3grPtY3-ZUqb1Wt1j7Tbg5cUZ7FJn0Ax-BeFzk--RAlOA&utm_content=213278655&utm_source=hs_email

Broad genetic testing

Is there a broad genetic testing panel you recommend? For someone who has no pending medical concerns but perhaps a family history of heart disease, cancer, autoimmune conditions, or other comorbidities, do you recommend or have you recommended genetic testing to get a glimpse into possible medical concerns in the future? Could broad genetic testing or a specific panel be used to screen for mutations and traits that may affect my lifestyle optimization or monitor my children for phenotypes that may affect their future?

Comment on Episode 207 and Feature Request

Episode 207 was, as always, content rich and informative. But it should not have been called an AMA. The AMAs cover a lot of ground characterized by information density whereas this episode was pretty narrow and was more of an exploration of a topic with an expert guest. Just some feedback... Feature Request: Please release a new podcast episode when Peter has 'member discount'. This will allow Peter to give a quick overview of why the product is being offered and also make sure that members never miss a time limited discount.
