Hello Peter, I am curious to know your thoughts on the risk associated with the covid-19 jab. I'm considering the J&J due to the least amount of reported adverse reactions. I'm 28 year old, healthy male, I do strength training 5x days a week and get about 3 hours of cardio vascular exercise a week. I've had Covid 19 twice confirmed through PCR. First one was in December 2020 and second time was Dec 2021. Are there elevated risk from getting the jab due to previous infections? Any input you have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Speaking at a conference, Peter said that LpPLA2 was THE marker of atherosclerotic lesions. However, he did not say a word about it during his most recent podcast (AMA #34) on heart disease. Has he changed mind on LpPLA2? As an anecdote, I managed to reduce my LpPLA2 levels very substantially through dietary and lifestyle interventions over the last 4 years. Peter & team: thank you so much for all your AMAZINGLY HELPFUL work.
Hi Peter. I am a critical care doc who doesn’t have the luxury of following the recommended tenets of good “sleep hygiene.” Therefore, I am often disappointed in everything I hear and read about sleep. It never allows any room for those of us “essential workers” who are taking care of patients at night. Do you have any advice for us? I know it’s bad for my health….but I can’t change my job, someone has to do it. Thanks!
Would love to hear more about setting up the Ooler's temp as you sleep. I've experimented with cold plunges recently (nothing remotely extreme) and my hands/feet have both taken a hit and are much colder now. Noticed the Ooler might not helping right now as I keep the temp on 1 setting all night.
