I was put on antidepressants (Sertraline) for postpartum depression 10 years ago when my first child was born and I have struggled to manage my anxiety without them. My doctors seem to think it’s no big deal to be on them long term but I really question conventional medical approaches overall. Any insights into the long term health consequences of being on antidepressants?
I’m at a loss. Doctors I go to all seem the same: rushed, superficial, robotic. I have tried changing doctors but it’s all the same. The system seems broken but I can’t find an alternative ... I would love to see you for care but I’m not in California. How do we as patients find better?
