Hi Peter and Nick - recently during a routine physical it was brought to my attention that I had elevated potassium levels. My physician asked if I was taking any dietary supplements. I told him that the only thing that I had been using that has additional potassium was LMNT. I stopped using LMNT for a month and I was retested and my potassium levels went from 5.6 mmol to 5.0 mmol. My question is - or better stated - something for LMNT to look at - it it necessary for the 200mg of potassium in every packet? My sodium levels are normal. Thank you
I just finished wearing a CGM for 2 weeks. I have never used one before. I am a 29 year old male and non diabetic. My average glucose level is 86 and I only spiked above 130 twice in 2 weeks. For the vast majority of this period I was in the 80's and 90's. I typically ranged between 70 and 110. An issue I have is that I hit the low 70's and into the 60's once a day or so and I feel very weak and shaky. I've had this going on since I was a teenager. It's almost always after I eat lunch. I never eat breakfast. I fast about 15-16 hours from dinner to lunch. I eat a low sugar, low carb, low processed food diet. Is my body producing too much insulin? What can I try to do to reduce my drop in glucose level so I do not go down to the low 70's or lower? Thank you so much!
My hair started graying. Can anything really get my hair back to their original colour? There were some thoughts on David Sinclair's podcast but I could never understand what those mean in practical terms. I'm: mid-30s, one meal a day, a lot of exercise (zone 2, HIIT). Not helping very much.
