Anhidrosis- Longevity and Performance Optimization

Would you consider an episode on global anhidrosis, which is a life threat and quality of life issue for children and adults around the world? Stanford’s automomic dysfunction lab and Huberman’s Lab speakers could explore the implications of anhidrosis on performance and longevity with you, as well as causes and potential interventions for safety and enhanced quality of life. As someone who suffers from this, and who has completed intense endurance events, I think there could be incredible potential for bringing together emerging knowledge and identifying best practices for optimizing capability and performance safely, and considering the harm of thermoregulation issues through the lifespan.

Slow Mag Causing Constipation without Mag Oxide/Citrate

Peter, I tried taking 2 slow mag a day as per your reccomendation, but I did not take any Mag oxide/citrate because I normally have great bowel function. I felt great taking the Slow Mag for the first 6 or so days then I got debilitatingly constipated and had constant painful belching. Stopping the Slow Mag stopped the symptoms. Do I need to be taking Mag Oxide/Citrate to loosen the stool while taking Slow Mag?

In other words, is a third key variable the eye/brain workout in addition to the pure exercise and social benefits?
