I've been targeted by a supplement called fatty 15, which claims to be a newly discovered essential fatty acid (C15:0) with anti-aging benefits. What is going on here? https://fatty15.com/pages/the-science

TRT and HCG and mood.

Hi Peter, new subscriber here... love the podcasts. Your Testosterone Replacement AMA was great. We have a lot of info on what it does to our physiology, however not much on the psychological effects of TRT. In my case, TRT gave me my life back, my only regret is not having started earlier. The other part of the puzzle where a definitive answer is difficult to get is the use of HCG. In my case, HCG elevates my mood significantly. My doc is resisting letting me use this continuously. What is the straight story on HCG and TRT. Secondly, are psychological effects (happiness) good to consider in risk/benefit analysis, we don't see this addressed often... Personally, I am willing to accept some level of risk for my psychological well being.

Zone2 Training with on Polar heart-reate-monitor

Hi Peter I am using a Polar heart-rate-monitor and device (Polar Grit X Pro) for my training and tracking. Is it a sufficient approximation if I use your description of Zone2 training and map it to Polar's five heart rate zones? Does Low Insulin From Low/moderate Carb Diets Affect Muscle Growth?

Simple question that might not have a simple answer: If we keep insulin levels low via a low/moderate carbohydrate diet, fasting, etc, does this come at odds with muscle growth? From what I understand, insulin is a very potent muscle-building hormone -- if we lower it, and keep it low, can or does that inhibit muscle growth? Do we "need" spikes or rises in insulin to also promote a more anabolic state for developing muscles or the healing of muscle tissue?
