HIIT and zone 2

Isn't it true that HIIT also increases the mitochondrial density, just like zone 2 training? If so, why is it important to do both types of exercises instead of just HIIT?

Zone 1 "Exercise"

Is there any benefit to doing a high quantity of Zone 1 "Exercise" (if you can call it that?)? For example - going on a 6 mile walk where my average heart rate is in the 100-110 range...or is this just a waste of time?

DFA alpha 1 HRV for determining Zone 2

Have you looked into measuring DFA alpha one HRV for determining zone two? If so, what is your experience with its accuracy. How much variability in that number is normal when trying to stay in the zone?

EMF Safety

There is a lot of controversy about EMF exposure and lately specifically with the adoption of new 5G technology. ie) turn off your wi-fi at night etc. Is there anything to be concerned about?

How soon to eat and what to eat after zone 2 training?

Hi Peter, I do an hour of zone 2 training in the morning (fasted state) a couple of times per week. I never eat breakfast (I eat lunch at 1pm and dinner at 7:30pm after my workout). My question is: should I eat as soon as I am done with the morning zone 2 training and if so what should I eat? Can I wait until lunch at 1pm to eat (I am normally done with the zone 2 training around 9:30am if I do in the morning). Thanks for all the information and knowledge you share!
