Reliability and accuracy of six hand held blood lactate analysers

This is an article in journal of sports and science medicine. I was not able to understand it, but I got the idea that lactate meters are not accurate enough to measure blood lactate. Can you review the article and advise. Thanks

Questions for upcoming round two with Inigo San Millan

After listening to the original podcast a second time, I'm reminded it will be a while before I understand the mechanics of the discussion but I did get more out of it. My questions, 1. Inigo San Millan mentioned that it was only a hypothesis that zone 2 improved mitochondrial function. Did he prove this? 2. Please talk more about overtraining and how to determine if one is doing so. Oura is constantly complaining that I'm overtraining but I struggle to believe. 3. New technologies to determine zone 2.

Advice for encouraging (/convincing!) older people to start longevity habits

Hi there, thanks for all you’re doing. I would like to know if you have any thoughts on encouraging my parents to adopt some of your best practice habits for longevity? My parents are now in their 60s and I would love for them to adopt lifestyle habits so they can be kick ass grandparents for years to come. I’m particularly interested in them taking up strength training, as they are very unlikely to do any of this with their current lifestyle choices. They are highly unlikely to engage with this community off their own back - and are quick to write off any off my suggestions as ‘another one of your weird ideas’. Seeing the need for (and enjoying) strength training is something older generations generally (in my experience) have not been exposed to. Of course, I’m not talking about older people in this longevity community - no offence intended for anyone 60+ reading this! Many thanks,

Amount of Fructose in Food

I am a recent subscriber to your podcast and loving it. Just finished listening to “The metabolic effects of Fructose” with Dr Rick Johnson, and wondering if you have a preferred website or source that you could give me, which accurately provides the amount of fructose in certain foods. There is a wealth of information using google but some of it is contradictory. Many thanks
