I was hoping you would outline your current preferred treatment plan for patients that are infected with COVID. I have 2x pfizer plus a pfizer booster, but want to plan and be prepared for what to do following an infection as it seems likely we will all be there eventually since this virus is here to stay. I have listened to your podcast with Rogan where you highlighted fluvoxamine and monoclonal antibodies as part of a treatment plan. Do you have a recommendation for treatment in terms of which OTC or prescriptions you would seek out and timing/dosage for standard of care?
In non-sedentary non-athletes does consuming fats in your diet increase insulin resistance? According to the model by which intramyocellular lipids in the form of DAGs suppress the workings of the GLUT 4 transporter, digesting more fatty acids should end up as increased concentration of DAGs in muscle? And how is this balanced with the action of fats blunting the glucose response in the stomach? Furthermore, should distinctions be drawn between saturated, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids? Based primarily on AMA 20 (https://peterattiamd.com/ama20/), the elephant in the room for me was the role of fats from food given you kept saying more intracellular DAGs means lower insulin sensitivity. Looking for practical advice if it can be sucked out of existing literature with high enough confidence :)
