COVID-19 boosters: antibodies vs cellular immunity

I’d be interested in how you think about the decline in circulating antibodies 6+ months out from primary COVID-19 vaccination, especially in light of indications that cellular immunity may continue be quite strong and perhaps even grow over time. For example, as described here: https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-021-02532-4 What do we know based on other disease / vaccine examples and how might it inform your opinion about whether you (for example) would either want or not want a booster?

Photobiomodulation

Peter & Bob, Long time follower, first time subscriber! I’m an RN (soon to be FNP) that, like yourself, is in search of ways to optimize my health-span.. Both of you are absolutely amazing in your ability to dissect the medical literature and regurgitate it in the most intelligent manner.. Dr Attia (no offense Dr Kaplan) you are 100% the smartest, medical articulate physician ive ever heard! You have the cadence and vocab of someone that was genetically created to disseminate your knowledge through visual/audio mediums… I constantly refer anyone that is serious about increasing both life/health-span to your podcast (subscription).. I do have a question that I would absolutely love to have you and Bob do an AMA- And that is photobiomodulation.. the alleged benefits of light therapy have always seemed so intriguing to me and I’d love to hear your thoughts or interpretation of the literature… I have a triple wavelength panel (Platinum Therapy Lights), but what really spawned my interest to get your opinion was a recent study I read on Medscape using a longer wavelength (1068nm) and showing neurocognitive benefits in healthy adults.. so I guess my questions are, since ive never heard of this longer wavelength being used, in your opinion, what are the optimal wavelengths, energy, distance, time, etc for near infrared diodes to improve health (reduce inflammation, increase circulation, etc)? Or what, if any, is your general recommendations (or not) on LLLT or photobiomodulation therapy? Keep up the amazing work!!!

Relationship between insulin resistance and high ldl.

Persistently high insulin levels seem correlated to high lipid levels but I have not heard discussion of a clear mechanism linking the two. More practically, how does a low carb diet lead to lower LDL?

COVID19 Vaccine for 5-11 kids

Can you please do a deep dive on the effectiveness, safety, and potential side effects of the covid19 vaccine on young kids (5-11 year old)? Thanks!

Mitochondrial dysfunction and reduced glucose tolerance due to large amounts of endurance exercise

Hi Peter (and crew), medical student here. I recently came across a research article in Cell demonstrating mitochondrial dysfunction and reduced glucose tolerance in individuals who were placed on a high-volume endurance exercise training program: https://www.cell.com/cell-metabolism/pdf/S1550-4131(21)00102-9.pdf What are your thoughts on this? I found it particularly concerning that a separate cohort (mentioned in the paper) of elite athletes were found to have impaired glucose control as well. How do you reconcile these findings with the claims made my Inigo San Milan, PhD regarding elite athletes and mitochondrial function? Is it a dose issue? Thanks!
