Desmosterol

I am curious to know which lab you use to test for desmosterol levels now that True Health Labs is gone. I have started using Cleveland Heart Labs but don't see that test on the panel. Thank you!

Glucokinase Activator

Wondering what you think about the new class of anti-diabetic agents called Glucokinase Activators. Hua Medicines and Bayer are partnered on one asset (called dorzagliatin) which recently demonstrated maintenance of glycemic control even after cessation of treatment: https://www.huamedicine.com/En/news-211 Obviously, we need P3 RCTs to really test this new therapy and the broader class, but wondering what your perspective was on this MOA and how it may stack up against or synergize with other anti-diabetic MOAs you've discussed on the podcast (AMPKi, SGLT2i, GLP1, etc.) as it seems to be guided at restoring glucose sensitivity at the receptor level.

Rapamycin

How can I get Rapamycin? I asked my primary and she said no....I see there is a "Rapamycin Specialist" in Southlake, Tx. Do you prescribe it to yourself?

Insulin sensitivity optimization with dietary manipulation

Studies have shown diurnal variation in insulin sensitivity (higher early in the day) and that the order of macronutrients eaten in a meal affect insulin release (i.e. protein and fiber first, followed by carbs last lower insulin release and glucose rise), would you do a deep dive into meal plan over a day to best optimize our insulin levels and responsiveness?

Desmosterol

In his Sep 26 email Peter mentions testing for desmosterol in his patients, and not wanting levels below 0.8 mg/L. What labs conduct this test? I don't see it listed on the LabCorp or Quest websites
