Postprandial walk and blood glucose

A postprandial walk appears to blunt the rise of blood glucose during that period. How big might the long term effect size of this be? Could it actually be an impactful lever for promoting longevity, or is it 30 minutes better spent doing something else?

Personal knowledge management

How do you manage and commit to memory the vast quantities of information that you consume? Do you take notes on readings? Do you use spaced repetition? I'm curious about any details you can share.

Reactive (postprandial) Hypoglycemia

Is reactive (aka postprandial) hypoglycemia a pre-cursor to pre-DMII and DMII? What is the mechanism of insulin-glucose dysregulation? How would your recommend treating/reversing it?

Optimizing for longevity in yourself while having a family life

Dear Peter, how are you able to balance your fasting, self-testing and longevity experiments with your family life? E.g. being on a keto diet is more difficult if your spouse is not following it and one needs to make two separate meals for dinner. Or just having different priorities e.g. you want to minimize your glucose levels, while your spouse wants to eat desserts and drink soda. Do you have any advice in such situations and how to make your spouse / family want to take action to improve their life and healthspan?

Physical and Supplemental Preparation for Acclimation and Optimal Performance at High Altitude (>10,000’).

Hello Dr. Attia, longtime subscriber and listener here. I can’t say how much I appreciate all the information and effort you and your team put towards all aspects of educating the public such myself. Im also sincerely looking forward to reading your book as soon as it’s available. I spend a couple weeks annually each fall on a self guided archery elk hunt in South Western Colorado. This always entails considerable time and effort spent training for strength, balance, and cardio. I feel my preparation in those categories is sufficient as I am fortunate enough to be relatively young/healthy and have a natural capacity for endurance type activities. However despite nearly year-round preparation I find that I always suffer the first full week of my trip with headaches, general fatigue, and mental fog. I know this is due to the extreme transition from basically sea level in Central Kentucky to an elevation of 10-13,000 feet but I’d love to find a way to minimize or prevent these symptoms if at all possible. I’ve done my fair share of research on supplementation and have a BS in human nutrition so I’m reasonably able to apply the current literature. However I would love to get your opinion on the matter. How would you nutritionally and supplementally prep for this trip prior to and during to minimize the impact of altitude. The average day consists of ~10-15miles hiked on extreme terrain with a ~40lb pack. For reference I weight 200lbs and my wearables show 6000-9000 active calories spent daily. I appreciate any and all information if you can find the time, thank you in advance.
