There have been several studies demonstrating the potential metabolic benefits of taking a daily supplement of diluted apple cider vinegar (diluted due to tooth enamel decay from vinegars in pure form from the lower pH value). In your research, have you found a specific dose of diluted apple cider vinegar associated with improved metabolic function (ie stablized BGLs, decreased adipose tissue, reduction in Hba1c)? Also has there been any associations of apple cider vinegar and alterations in the microbiome and or oral bacteria? Does it matter what time of day the vinegar is consumed and/or around meals? Has there been any association with a diluted Apple Cider Vinegar supplement and lipid analysis (lowered type B LDL, lowered triglycerides). Thanks Peter!
When 'normal' diabetic doses of metformin cause gastrointestinal symptoms, what can be said about switching to a lower dose of metformin vs switching to other glucose control drugs (like ones that pass more glucose through the kidneys)?
Hi Peter, My name is Ross Pelton and I "brand" myself as The Natural Pharmacist. My website, blog and bio are at: www.naturalpharmacist.net and I am a subscriber to The Drive. I am writing a book on rapamycin. I want to provide links to important resources (scientific studies, articles and podcast interviews) in the last section of the book. I would like to reference episode #90 on The Drive which is your interview with David Sabatini. I plan to provide the website link and also tell readers they can access your interview with Sabatini by doing a Google search for the terms Attia Sabatini. Please let me know if you are okay with my request by sending a note or permission to me via email at: ross@naturalpharmacist.net I appreciate your podcast more than I can express…! In gratitude, Ross PS: Please let me know if you would be willing/interested to read my manuscript before publication and offer any suggestions, edits and/or comments that you might have.
