Increase of hepatic accumulation of lipid during fasting and high alcohol consumption

For an adult male who consumes a moderate to high amount of alcohol, but otherwise is a healthy individual (exercises, eats clean, sleeps well), would fasting increase the chances of developing fatty liver? Just listened to the insulin resistance podcasts you had, specifically the AMA, and there was a point made that hepatic accumulation of fat increases during times of starvation. Would this prevent you from prescribing fasting to this indivdual?

Vaccine for pregnant women

Hi Peter, Simply put, would you recommend your wife be vaccinated if she were 6 months pregnant? Thanks

Repeated COVID-19 exposure. No positive tests. No Antibodies

Hey Peter and Team, I am super curious about my situation. I haven't been able to find very much information on it. I have been exposed to COVID > 7 times. Including sharing a bed with my girlfriend while she was symptomatic. I have been tested > 10 times PCR and Antigen tests. I have never had symptoms, I have not tested positive, and I do not have antibodies based on the two antibody tests that I have taken. I have spoken with a few people who have had similar experiences. Can you or your team point to any research as to why this occurs?

Nicotine as a carcinogen

Hey Peter, On your recent AMA you said there was seemingly little evidence that Nicotine itself was a carcinogen. Upon research, I found a particular study that mentioned the following: Several lines of evidence indicate that nicotine may contribute to the development of cancer. "Evidence from experimental in vitro studies on cell cultures, in vivo studies on rodents as well as studies on humans inclusive of epidemiological studies indicate that nicotine itself, independent of other tobacco constituents, may stimulate a number of effects of importance in cancer development" I'm intrigued by the neuro-enhancing effects of nicotine, can you help me understand the potential carcinogenic effects? Why is the spoon absent?

Offering up a potential answer, albeit a bit obscure, to the quandary: "Why don’t you also include the spoons? It’s not just forks and knives, it’s forks and knives and spoons." Question: Have you considered the Hey-Diddle-Diddle narrative? The dish is often cited as the reason for factoring out the spoons, although I'm not certain that has been reliably confirmed. Mostly hearsay.
