Electrolytes supplementation for 70-120 km of cycling.

After using Hymalayn salt as my electrolytes booster, I have experimented with salt pills and was surprised to find out that the previous acted better in preventing muscle cramps toward the end of my rides. I was expecting that an engineer product would perform better. Could you please shed some light on that topic? Thank you.

Any thoughts about using creatine in electrolyte drinks to help enhance endurance and rehydrate the skeletal muscles to give an athlete a competitive advantage?

Does nicotine increase blood pressure and resting heart rate?

I’m surprised that the AMA didn’t mention any studies showing that NRT increases resting heart rate and blood pressure. If that is correct, then isn’t there an increased risk for CVD? Anecdotally, I have seen these metrics change under my experimentation of NRT.
