I have heard Peter state that the annual limit for radiation exposure is 50 mSv. What I have found, however, is that the 50 mSv limit only applies to individuals who are radiation workers. The limit for the general public is only 1 mSv per year per the NRC: https://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/doc-collections/cfr/part020/part020-1301.html. So, my question is: why does Peter consistently state that the limit is 50 mSv in a given year? Is he mistaken or does he have a better explanation why he is using the occupational worker limit?
I have been using my Apple Watch to track my VO2 max (more directional than absolute number). Once I started on tirzepitide, I had an almost immediate and sustained drop in my measured VO2 max. What should I make of this? Has my VO2 max really gone down, or is there some “interference” in how the Apple Watch measures VO2 max? Thanks!
