Override fullness cues to prevent later hunger, time restricted eating

I find that if I eat until satisfaction at dinner, I get hungry before I go to bed, and so hungry that I cannot sleep and need to have a snack, breaking the time restricted eating goal. Is it better to eat past satisfaction so that I don't get hungry before bed and can stick to time restricted eating?

Carbs and sleep quality, calorie restriction and sleep

I notice that when I've been lower carb for a few days (<50g on a ~2300cal diet), my sleep seems to be worse (both falling and staying asleep). My sleep is not great in general, so I'm not sure if this is a direct cause, but I had 125g of carbs one day and slept great, so I was wondering if this is a factor. I read online that a "low-carb diet leads to a reduction in sleep-regulating chemicals like melatonin and adenosine" (https://www.sleepfoundation.org/insomnia/keto-insomnia#:~:text=Keto%20insomnia%20refers%20to%20sleep,Difficulty%20falling%20asleep) As some further context, a few years ago I was able to lose weight (~10%) by calorie restriction, but then I started getting really hungry and have gained it back. When I try to restrict calories now, I end up being unable to sleep... any advice? Thank you!

Rapamycin in Thrombocythemia

I submitted this elsewhere on the website by accident (sorry!) Hi, I’m a medical doctor who has read Outlive. After reading about the mTOR pathway in the book and then reading literature about how it relates to platelet creation, I’m curious if you think it could be a future therapy for essential thrombocythemia. I couldn’t find anything online or pubmed so I’m guessing it is only theoretical but curious about your thoughts. Thanks!

Athletic Greens

I am somewhat confused as to why Dr Attia has a long, complex, research based rationale for everything he does/recommends, and, in a recent episode, scoffs at "superfoods" yet continues to recommend Athletic Greens and says that he takes it.

What are the key journals/sources your team uses for evidence-based decisions?

There is so much misinformation out there, but there's also a ton of outdated information. For example, the RDA for protein is different from your views. With that said, what are the top sources you and your team use to prevent slow adoption of optimal medical treatment based on the latest data? Do you consult a list of the top 10 most "impact factor" sources such as Circulation, NEJM, etc?
