Hashimoto and thyroid health

What is the best treatment plan? How can you tell if prescriptions are working? How can you improve your longevity if you have this diagnosis.

Blood Pressure and Heart Rate

I notice that these correlate in some cases but not all cases. With high intensity exercise it seems both increases. With sodium sensitivity, stress, lack of sleep it may not be the case. For example my blood pressure may be more sensitive than heart rate easily going up while heart rate is more stable day to day. Is it possible to reach dangerous blood pressure levels within a normal heart rate? Can you describe the relationship and nuances in detail? Do your concerns change is blood pressure is high and heart rate low? Could a higher blood pressure cause low heart rate in any cases? ( For example: The heart doesn’t have to beat too much because the pressure is do high when it does?). I am really lost on this relationship and the physiological implications.

Akkermansia supplementation: does it increase risk of neurodegeneration- Multiple Sclerosis/alpha synucleinopathies

https://www.mdpi.com/1660-4601/20/5/4624#B90-ijerph-20-04624 https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28843021/ Kindly address the associations between increase Akkermansia populations seen in microbiome of multiple sclerosis patients and Parkinson patients with regards to taking Pendulum Glucose Control Akkermansia probiotic for production of GLP1 vs potential huge downside risk (probably unknown at this point) of promoting Multiple Sclerosis or alpha synucleinopathies. Please address what we know or don’t know especially with regard to Akkermansia supplementation. How does this impact you taking Pendulum’s Akkermansia vs NOT. Could you address this specifically? Would really appreciate Podcast discussion around this topic of current state of microbiome manipulation. Topics: 1 Reliable testing companies: BiomeFX? Any others? 2 Treatment for IBS/Inflammatory bowel disease etc. 3. Akkermansia vs risks 4. What’s known vs What’s the wild West? 5.Reputable companies that have FDA probiotics (one exists for IBD) and routinely third party tested companies?

Strength training for arthritis, osteopenia, osteoporosis

Could you discuss how someone who suffers joint pain from arthritis and have osteopenia or osteoporosis, put together an effective weight training regimen that will stave off the progression of bone loss while managing the pain (extreme muscle soreness, joint pain) in the aftermath of the exercises.

Triage Theory

With your recent focus and podcasts on magnesium and iron, do you think you might be working your way towards adopting the Bruce Ames Triage Theory?
